The House System represents the values and ethos of Huxlow Academy and aims to develop as an integral part of our school community. The House system complements the school's ethos of Ambition, Respect and Pride. These values are developed by encouraging a sense of community, awareness of each other and team spirit through a variety of activities on a weekly basis.

Gemstones are not born perfect; they begin deep underground as raw, unpolished minerals. It takes time, the right environment, and positive pressure to reveal their true brilliance.
At Huxlow, we believe every single student is precious and possesses unique, hidden potential. Time here at Huxlow is the polishing process. Through hard work, resilience, and the support of each House community, students will uncover unique strengths and learn to shine.
We do not just want students to pass exams, we want students to discover their worth, stand out, and realise that they are capable of becoming something truly spectacular.
- Each of the 4 Houses have a Y7, Y8, Y9, Y10 and Y11 form group
- Each house has a Head of House (HoH) and a Student Support Officer (SSO)
- There is a House Base Office for each house where the HoH and SSO will be based
- Heads of House are the Heads of Year
- Through our Houses we will drive a sense of belonging and promote our core values of Ambition, Respect and Pride
